Pastor Samuel G Kupeyan was born in South Florida to Mihran and Annie Kupeyan. Shortly thereafter, his parents and older brother Joel would move to Southern California, where his father had planted a Church. Two years after arriving in California, Samuel and older brother Joel would celebrate the arrival of their younger sister Aline. These children were blessed with godly parents who demonstrated God's love, nurture and admonition in raising them. Following the Proverbs 22:6 model, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it"(KJV), they raised three God fearing children who are still actively involved in the Church. He received his elementary and secondary education in Christian schools in California, Massachusetts, and New York. He traveled south to attend Pensacola Christian College in Pensacola, Florida. It was at Pensacola Christian College that Samuel fell in love with his life partner Ruthie. They were married in Latham, New York, and packed and moved to Pensacola, Florida. Samuel graduated from Pensacola Christian College with a Bachelor's Degree in Pastoral Ministries, and served at Graceway Baptist Church in Pensacola, Florida.
Pastor Samuel and his wife Ruthie moved back home to New York upon hearing that Samuel's father was sick. They served under Samuel's father, Pastor Mihran Kupeyan, for a year and a half until he finished his course and was called home to be with the Lord who he had served his entire life. Pastor Samuel Kupeyan has been serving the Lord ever since, following God's direction and leading.
He is an avid sports fan, loves to play all sports, his two most favorite being baseball and soccer. He is fluent in English and Armenian.
He is a believer that accepting the Lord, the new birth experience, being born again is equivalent to enlistment into the military, and the Church is the boot camp to equip, train and prepare warriors for Christ. “Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also. thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier. II Timothy 2:1-4
